Activision is not worried about Call of Duty subscriber loss

Activision Blizzard revealed in its latest earnings report that Call of Duty's user base is on a slump.

Compared to March last year, the current Monthly Active Users across all Call of Duty games is down from 150 million to 94 million.

Activision blames this dip on the lack of interest in Call of Duty games as well as the fact that it hasn't released a new game in the last quarter.

However, Activision Blizzard is not worried at all.

Activision Blizzard believes that the release of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 soon will help perk the numbers back up.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is expected to come out on October 28 while Warzone 2 will also come before the year ends.
