Players are selling the Burger Town skin for half the cost of Modern Warfare 2

How much does a Whopper meal cost these days? $6? $7? Regardless, we're pretty sure Burger King doesn't sell their best-selling bundles for a high price.

Yet, gamers are taking advantage of the crossover promotion between Call of Duty and Burger King to make bank.

A quick search on eBay and other online sites will show you how players are selling Burger King's "proprietary" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 operator skin for $30, which is nearly half the $70 price of a copy of the game.

The goal was to get players to buy the Modern Warfare II x Burger King meal, fill up to use the one-hour double XP bonus and show off the Burger Town operator skin,

The promotion is available in 40 countries, which excludes the US and the UK, so some players will do anything to get their hands on it.

It's baffling that Activision Blizzard didn't partner with Burger King stores in the US and the UK, two of its biggest markets.

Having said that, we can't blame Call of Duty players for dropping half the price of Modern Warfare 2 on a single cosmetic.
